Senior Design Engineer, Casey Wilson, has quickly approached eight years of bringing his creative talent to Tiger Solar. Residing in Boise, Idaho, Wilson assists each branch with various installs by creating simulations of the project for the customer as well as the installers. He oversees the team of junior designers while also consolidating all plan sets for permitting and installation. Wilson’s contributions allow solar customers a glimpse of their project prior to installation. One could say, he creates the exciting anticipation of going solar for the customer.

For Wilson, each day involves answering questions related to installs, working on design packages, while also supporting the design team. Wilson states, “Our goal in design is to have as much time as possible to formulate design packages and simulations to keep the sales and operations teams moving forward.” Wilson has a unique position in that he gets to see his own craftsmanship come to life with the completion of a project, “I love seeing the finished install. That’s when all the planning and designing comes to fruition.”

On his days off, Wilson loves spending time in nature. During the warmer months, Wilson enjoys hiking with his dog, Arrow, golfing, camping and fly fishing, and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. He and his girlfriend, Keiko love adventuring together in the Gem State of Idaho.

Wilson reflects on his positive experience working with Tiger Solar, “I’m always trying to get friends to work for Tiger.
